Walking
The Lincolnshire Wolds and Fens are
crisscrossed with numerous short, circular and long distance foot paths. Long
distance paths: include the Viking Way, and the MacMillan Way
Local walks around the fen villages of Old Leake and Wrangle have been drawn up for the benefit of guests wishing to stroll out the front door of the Ecolodge. These walks range from 1 hour to a whole day.
Guests at the Ecolodge have access to a wide variety of descriptive walking guides and leaflets, covering easy to strenuous walking. These have been produced by Lincolnshire County Council and cover a wide variety of terrain from sea shore and marshes to hills and woods.

Cycling
The Ecolodge is not far from the National Cycle Network: Hull to Harwich Cycle Route.
Ecolodge guests can also use the Cycling Discovery Maps produced by Lincolnshire Tourism. These range from 17-24miles and cover all areas of the county. A new coastal route is also being developed and should be signposted this year.
Shorter cycling routes, taking in the marshes, local villages and other places of interest are also available to Ecolodge guests.
We are extending a range of local cycling maps to take you off the beaten track in this area.
